The building integrates within an industrial subdivision located adjacent to Matalco aluminum recycling facility. The plan is organized around the central truck receiving/dumping area of post consumer metals. The design of this recycling facility required our office to study and assist in determining the process of collection/sorting and bailing common metals. Our office worked closely with the owner, the sorting staff, and equipment suppliers to achieve an efficient and compact layout. We successfully navigated through Brampton's Site Plan Approval process and building department through to construction. It is our understanding that the building successfully continues to operate as initially designed.
